Innovative Design Improves Employee Experiences
Pegasus Technologies, Inc. is an aviation services and products company located in Green Cove Springs since 1984. The organization was outgrowing its facilities and built a new business operation center to centralize employees. The center was designed to be a professional and high functioning space to better accommodate employee needs and offer a more refined experience for client meetings.
Known for being on the cutting edge of commercial interior design, Perdue® worked with the Pegasus Technologies team to create a modern space that strengthened Pegasus’ culture, offered employees an opportunity to work in private and collaborate spaces and presented an elevated brand experience.
Starting by identifying the needs of each space, the Perdue team helped Pegasus Technologies make strategic decisions to design a workplace that would give employees everything needed to be highly productive and successful. Using the latest office design technology, Perdue provided a highly visual and efficient workplace design experience to bring Pegasus’ vision to life, including creating realistic office renderings to share with stakeholders.
“The nice thing is that the designer was able to provide all the colors and a real-life rendering of what everything was going to look like so there were no surprises,” said Jeff Heyse, Vice President, Support Services at Pegasus Technologies. “I was able to share that with the board and make adjustments based on feedback.”
The design featured height adjustable desks throughout the workstations and a variety of Steelcase products, including Answer workstations, Gesture and Amia chairs and Verb classroom tables. The space also featured AMQ Tizu, OFS lounge chairs and Sit On It Prava conference chairs. The mix of sleek and multi-functional pieces gave the new space a comfortable and modern look while achieving the goal of a workplace that sets employees up for success.
“It’s really improved the moral and the culture here,” Heyse said. “When our customers come, they are impressed with how professional the space is.”
