Streamlined, Contemporary Furniture Design for a Luxe Sportsbook Venue
Fanatics Betting & Gaming, a subsidiary of Fanatics, is an online and retail sports betting platform offering real money wagering and iGaming activities. For its first retail Sportsbook at the Washington Commanders’ FedEx Field in Maryland, Fanatics B&G aimed to establish a fandom paradise and intimate space where fans can feel a sense of community watching games.
Fanatics Sportsbook is a leading force in a growing market, being the first to open inside a major league stadium. Through partnership with BLT Architects, the 5,000-square-foot facility features a complete design of betting windows, betting kiosks, TV monitors, LED video walls, plus a full-service restaurant.
Having a long-standing relationship with Jacksonville-based Fanatics, Perdue curated a furniture solution that complements the aesthetic of the new Sportsbook. Drawing from over a century of office interior design and as a Steelcase premier partner, Perdue sculpted a complete landscape of the latest premium furnishings and office interior products ideal for the space. From office design solutions to furniture installation, every stage of the process was seamlessly handled with care and tight control throughout planning, procurement, and delivery.
“Perdue was great to work with for the Fanatics project. They offered solutions for long lead times and were flexible with the schedule as construction was delayed,” said Karen Soni, BLT Architects Associate. “The end result was a space filled with comfortable, timeless furniture perfect for the Sportsbook experience.”
Comfortable seating such as Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams’ Hunter leather sofas and lounge chairs provides luxe, versatile space for several to sit, while Andreu World America’s Valeria backless barstools and dining chairs add contemporary style to the Sportsbook’s casual environment. The design also features custom Table Design dining tabletops and JSI Prost coffee tables.
