Premium Design for Enhanced Shared Spaces that Support Respite
Baptist Health is Jacksonville’s most preferred healthcare provider with more than 200 primary care and specialty physician practices, children’s specialty clinics, home health care, behavioral health, occupational health, rehabilitation services, and urgent care facilities. To refresh its facility and establish a more comfortable atmosphere for its guests, Baptist Health wanted to create an elevated space design for its newly renovated cafeteria, conference rooms, and a physician’s lounge at its downtown Jacksonville campus.
Being a leader in cutting-edge hospital and workplace design and a continuous partner with Baptist Health for over 20 years, Perdue created an exclusive project solution aligned with budget expectations. The project goal was to enhance the space with premium furniture design that supports respite care services and other forms of special care.
Beyond new furniture installation for Baptist Health’s shared spaces, Perdue cultivated a design solution using innovative tools and techniques to streamline a design process and extracted data to make informed decisions that supported the use of Baptist Health’s redesigned space.
With the renovated areas sharing a scenic view of the St. John River, Perdue arranged a furniture display featuring soft seating, lounge components, and contemporary style, tying in a relaxed aesthetic for the designed space.
Perdue sourced a selection of furniture from a variety of light, expressive and collaborative products.

The project featured Steelcase Campfire Paper Tables, select pieces from Coalesse ENEA Lotus chairs and stools, OFS, HON, and BluDot tables, and Carolina lounge chairs.
