Modern Design and Sound Masking Enhances Productivity

Mainline Information Systems, a national technology company that designs custom IT hardware and software solutions, wanted to refresh their 18-year-old office to enhance collaboration and increase productivity.

Creating a modern office design that would offer employees the flexibility to work together as well as focus individually, Perdue^® transformed the 29,640 square-foot space, including 39 workstations, eight offices and a large breakroom, into a environment that helps accelerate business performance.

We focused on furnishing an open, modern floorplan that increased collaboration using partitions with glass at the top. To ensure employees could still concentrate individually, sound masking was installed by wiring sound emitters onto the hanging light fixtures, keeping it aesthetically pleasing while ensuring employees are productive. As the premier Steelcase dealer in North Florida, we featured Steelcase Answer workstations, Gesture task chairs and Currency office desks to give the space a contemporary look with the flexibility to adjust to changes in the workplace.
